One problem of the Victorian Times was the crimes. The Victorians were fascinated by crimes. At first they didn’t had a police, or they had police in only few towns or cities were crimes were everyday. Crime was becoming up a political issue. So they changed this and cities, towns, etc. were going to have their own police force.
Policeman used a distinctive uniform, with a top hat, and a tail jacket. This tail jacket, that were from servants, was because policeman were for telling people what to do, I mean they gave orders, so people paid their wages and policeman served them by saying them this orders. The police could stop crime as it happen but only if they were there.
